Orange Flush.

These are a small series of photos taken by myself and the luminous Jaime Brassil. It was a little competition we entered together for Oyster Magazine, and the theme was .. um .. orange;) I would love to do this again.

Made me cry.

Whenever i see someone crying, i myself start to well up with tears. I don't know if it's a reflection of how i sometimes feel, if it is complete sympathy, or if it is simply contagious but it definitely happens. When i stumbled across Marina Abramovic's performance art, an exhibition featured at MOMA, and the portraits taken of its viewers, i was a bit of a mess. What do you think? Could the people's reactions be an internal reflection? Very thought provoking and beautiful. There are hundreds of portraits here. I wouldn't last 2 minutes...

Art is for sharing not keeping for yourself. The more people your work can speak to the more powerful it becomes. Let it fall out of your hands and into the minds of others. You can't own it, you can only create it -Hisham Bharoocha

I welcome these incredible Artist Music Journals with open arms.
p.s. I have finally emailed you some photos ; )
Best of luck with the project! I can't wait to see. xo

Dead Galaxy

I have a dear friend named Presser who recently had an exhibition at Mart Gallery of collages and pieces which are mostly galaxy inspired...and who is not inspired by the galaxy, seriously? Dead Galaxy II was Presser's second successful show and i am the lucky owner of at least 6 of his prints. Visit his site for more collages and if interested, send him a cosmic hello. A Cassavetes Evening

All you need to make a film is love and honesty.

Thawas the answer to every question asked to Seymour Cassel and Gena Rowland at last night's Florida Film Festival event which featured John Cassavetes's Faces followed by a Q&A.

"John loved actors, he loved performance." Seymour Cassel opened up the many memories of his career with Cassavetes and Gena Rowland elegantly agreed with delicate smiles and nods that her husband had been one of the most honest and compassionate directors of his time. Such an incredible evening, there is so much to learn from that generation of actors.
