All you need to make a film is love and honesty.
That was the answer to every question asked to Seymour Cassel and Gena Rowland at last night's Florida Film Festival event which featured John Cassavetes's Faces followed by a Q&A.
"John loved actors, he loved performance." Seymour Cassel opened up the many memories of his career with Cassavetes and Gena Rowland elegantly agreed with delicate smiles and nods that her husband had been one of the most honest and compassionate directors of his time. Such an incredible evening, there is so much to learn from that generation of actors.
