Annalemma Issue Five

oh my! It has been a busy few weeks. I am finally coming up for some air. I just finished designing and laying out the next issue of Annalemma Magazine. It is a relatively new literary and art mag that features amazing writers and artists from all over the United States. You can get a sneak peak of the roster here. It was a really fun project and I will keep you posted on the release date.

to capture...

I cant pretend to be a photographer, although I do believe I would be able to capture a moment in all its beauty and light, maybe adding some humor to the set or perhaps some serious children. Endless possibilities...just need a good camera. And some fun masks ...

Fantazma Gloria

Biddy Maroney has a cat named Machete. She is one half of we buy your kids and has a plethora of dark and amazing illustrations. One of her designs was pitched to an artist who wanted something dark but then graciously said no thank you-" not that dark". To which Biddy smiled.

My Eyes Were Thirsty

If you've got a minute or eighty to look at some great sex, drugs and rock n' roll images that are well suited to leading us into summer, I would recommend a beer, some eels music and a soft pillow. Get comfortable.

E. Wallman In Australia

It turns out this raconteur is as skillful in photography as he is slinging rotten fruit across parking lots, disguising nutella on your doorknob, or making you collapse in laughter telling his collection of amazing stories. I've picked out a few pretty images that I like from his trip, but to get the full sense of his point-of-view visit the pharaohchin. (I am not sure if Eric was in your neck of the woods. Recognize some of the places?)
